One thing I love about my job is all the cool guitars and guitar equipment I get to play on a regular basis. I began learning the guitar in high school on an old Alvarez that I aquired through permanent loan. I’ve since then given that guitar to my sister who allows it to sit in her basement room collecting rust. (yes. rust, not dust.) Terrible.
I have two Fender Strats. My sunburst Strat is a 2008 American Deluxe model with Dimarzio area 58 pickups, 60s rosewood neck, and alder body. My black strat is a 2006 American Standard that I rebuilt with Dimarzio Area 58 and Area 61 pickups, alder body and 50s style maple neck.
I have two awesome acoustic guitars. I have a Martin D-15 acoustic guitar made of all mahagony wood which brings a dark and rich tone to the phosphor bronze strings. I also have a Tom Anderson Crowdster. I was seriously blessed with the opportunity to custom order this gutiar from Tom Anderson, guitar maker in California.
